The Band-IT C00269 Junior Hand Tool is a one piece hand tool which can install 5 widths of junior and junior smooth ID clamps ranging from 1/4" to 3/4" – following diameter 13/16” to 8”.

The C00269 tool works best when it is secured in a vice, however, when it is not secured in a vice, the tool can only be used to install 1/4", 3/8” and 1/2" clamps. This tool provides the operator with complete control over the clamp tensioning and the locking process.

It is recommended to use Junior clamps in Type 201 Stainless Steel Band for higher strength performance, and use Type 316 Stainless Steel for higher corrosion and galvanised carbon steel for the best economy. The junior clam adapter mechanism within this tool is zinc plated and this protects against corrosion.
