Band-IT 316 Stainless Steel Band also comes with Easy Scale patented imprint on the band to quickly determine band length without waste.

Band-IT Coated 316 Stainless Steel Banding has superior resistance to sun, salt and sea water than 201 Stainless Steel

What are the properties of 316 Grade Stainless Steel?

316 Stainless Steel Banding is often referred to as Marine Grade steel which withstands exposure to harsh weather, saltwater or sub-sea conditions. 316 Stainless Steel contains an addition of molybdenum (comparing to 304) that gives it improved corrosion resistance. This is particularly apparent for pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.

Most often 316 Stainless Steel is used in food processing equipment, chemical and petrochemical equipment, chemical transportation containers etc
